Born in Burgundy into a wine family, Mathieu Paquet founded the company Paquet Montagnac Bourgogne in 2015, specialized in the distribution of wines to export markets. In collaboration with the Bordeaux company Montagnac, he wanted to strengthen the synergy between the famous wine regions of Burgundy and Bordeaux. Mathieu built a network of independent wine producers and developed a range of carefully selected wines, tailored to the wishes of customers. The aim was to promote the diversity of the French terroirs worldwide. In 2019, the company moved to Charnay-Lès-Mâcon and expanded with a storage warehouse and labeling line. In 2022, Paquet Montagnac opened a wine warehouse in New Jersey, USA, and acquired new packaging equipment. The company now has long-term partnerships with top wine producers, and offers a wide range of high-quality wines and service, with an eye for innovation and changing market demands.
